One of the frontiers of tertiary education in Nigeria is the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN). As such, the post UTME of the school is always competitive, with thousands of candidates attempting to gain admission into the institution.
Screening, a crucial phase in the admissions process, is designed to evaluate and select candidates who demonstrate potential and readiness for university-level education by offering them admission to study their desired courses.
Eligibility and Admission Criteria of UNILORIN Post UTME 2025
For a candidate to be eligible to apply for UNILORIN post UTME 2025, he/she must have chosen the University of Ilorin as his or her first choice institution during the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board’s (JAMB) registration. And scored not less than 180 in the JAMB UTME.
UNILORIN Post UTME 2025 Aggregate System
Admission into the University of Ilorin will be based on the aggregate score of candidates. It’s calculated thus:
- JAMB UTME/DE score – 50%
- UNILORIN Post-UTME screening score – 30%
- Five (5) relevant O’ Level grades – 20%
- Total: 100%
How to Apply for UNILORIN Post UTME/Direct Entry
- The O’level requirement for the post UTME or Direct Entry registration must be uploaded on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). candidate who are awaiting results should indicate ‘AR’.
- valid and unique phone number as well as active e-mail address of candidates must be used during the registration process.
- Your registration fee for the UNILORIN post UTME form 2025 is two thousand Naira (#2, 000) only.
- Two apply, Visit the official website of the university or click on Post UTME on the main website.
- The payment method for the registration is the Remita platform, which can be completed via card, transfer, USSD, bank, or QR code.
- Ensure that you confirm and validate your payment using your JAMB registration number. This is really important to certify payment.
- Continue by activating your account with the activation code sent to the email you earlier submitted.
- Form Completion: Log in with your credentials, fill in the application form accurately, and submit.
