Ibarapa Lawmaker to Host First Class Graduates December

The lawmaker representing the Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. (Dr.) Adebayo Adepoju will host first-class and distinction graduates in the constituency on Monday, December 23, 2024.

This was contained in an announcement by the lawmaker on Friday, signed by his special adviser, Media and Publicity, Hassan Olaoniye.

It would be recalled that the lawmaker, in December last year, lunched a luncheon for the first-class and distinction graduates in the constituency as part of his efforts to enhance academic excellence in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North.

Expressing his joy, the lawmaker remarked that each of the five communities he represents has a first-class or distinction graduate for this year’s luncheon, a proof of the impact of his robust educational intervention programmes since being elected as a parliamentarian in 2023.

Hon. Adepoju also expressed that the period of the luncheon organised yearly to honour and celebrate exceptional students in the constituency will also be used to pay tuition fees of students who are currently in various tertiary institutions of learning under his scholarship scheme as well as those whose names have been shortlisted for the same scholarship programme.

While wishing his constituents a merry Christmas and prosperous New Year in advance, the lawmaker assured them of more dividends of democracy in the year 2025.
