The Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa has graduated over 8000 students in its combined maiden convocation ceremony since its establishment as a satellite campus.
The Event which was held at the School’s Sports field on Friday had graduands across the four faculties of the institution awarded National Diploma and Higher National Diploma certificates.
Professor Adebowale Abiodun Ojo, the chairman of the institution’s governing council, thanked the state government for its ongoing support and provided promises to support the faith placed in the leadership.
The school also presented honorary certificates to a few exceptional individuals throughout the ceremony.
Speaking further about the rise in graduation rates, Adebowale requested government assistance through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund.
He presented the Council’s proposal to designate May 19 of each year as the institution’s Convocation Day.
The combined Convocation ceremony consists of six sets, according to Dr. Olugbade Adewuyi Akinteye, the institution’s acting rector.

He continued by listing the accomplishments of the management, which included the accreditation of more programs, the installation of 70 solar-powered streetlights (TETFUND), the building of an ICT center, a building for the faculty of science, a building for management, and two lecture halls with a capacity of 250.
The Oyo State Executive Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde praised the school administration for the accomplishment and urged the graduates to behave well.

The institution will provide graduates with the information, abilities, and perspectives necessary to thrive in the world outside of the classroom, the Governor, who was represented by the State Deputy Governor, Bayo Lawal, expressed trust in the institution.
The institution’s acting registrar, Mr. Dele Oladipo, then presented certificates to the graduates.
Among the personalities conferred Fellowship Awards were Asiwaju Fadairo, Asiwaju of Eruwaland, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran (Jandor), and Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat for their numerous contributions to the institution and society.
