2023/2024 Session: EKSU Announces Matriculation Ceremony

The matriculation ceremony for all freshmen of Ekiti State University (EKSU) is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, the management says.

As contained in a circular signed for the school registrar by Dr. A. Dada, the 2023/2024 matriculation ceremony of the university would take place by 10 a.m at the University Main Auditorium.

The university stated that it is essential for all freshmen to be a part of the matriculation ceremony.

They stated that those who fail to be matriculated have voluntarily withdrawn from the University.

Essential things to note by the matriculating students:

  • Collection of the matriculation robe requires freshmen to provide the original copy of their admission letter and evidence of registration (which has been screened and cleared).
  • The collection of robes begins on Monday, May 6, 2024, from faculty officers between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
  • Old robes used by the freshmen must be returned in good condition unfailingly to the collection center not later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024.
  • All freshmen, men and women, must be properly dressed.
  • All guests of freshmen must be at the matriculation venue by 9:00 a.m. while all fully-robed matriculating students must be seated before academic procession at the latest by 9:30 a.m.
  • The matriculation register must be signed by all students after the ceremony at their respective faculties and they must submit their matriculation oath.
