The Nigerian Customs Services recruitment 2024 has began nationwide.
Method of Application for Nigerian Customs Services Recruitment 2024/2025
1. All applications must be submitted online. Suitably qualified candidates should log on to the Nigeria Customs Service Recruitment Portal (https://recruitment.customs.gov.ng ) to fill and submit their application.
2. Applicants must ensure they possess the required qualifications for the position being applied for.
3. Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
4. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for further screening.
General Conditions for Nigerian Customs Services Recruitment 2024/2025
1. Applicants must be Nigerian by birth.
2. Applicants must have completed their primary six education and obtained a First School Leaving Certificate.
3. Applicants must not be less than 1.7 meters all for males and 1.64 meters for females.
4. Medical fitness is required, and applicants must not be physically or mentally challenged.
5. Applicants must not have been convicted of any criminal offense.
6. Applicants must not be members of any secret society, cult, or drug addicts.
7. Applicants must present a certificate of state/ LGA of origin.
NOTICE: Candidates are strictly prohibited from submiting any false document. Falsification of any document will result in immediate disqualification and may lead to prosecution. Applications will last for one week (from 27th December 2024 to 2nd January 2025).
Only shortlisted candidates will be entertained for the next phase of the process.
Cadres of Nigerian Customs Services Recruitment 2024/2025
Superintendent Cadre
Basic Requirements
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
- Must not have any criminal record or be under investigation.
Academic Requirements
- Superintendent Cadre:
- University degree or HND (Higher National Diploma)
- NYSC discharge Certificate
Medical Requirements
- Must be physically and mentally fit.
- Evidence of medical fitness from a recognized government hospital.

Inspectorate Cadre
National Diploma (ND) or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) from any Approved Institution.

Customs Assistant Cadre
Basic Requirements
• Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
• Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
• Must not have any criminal record or be under investigation.
Academic Requirements
• Customs Assistant Cadre:
• O’Level (WAEC or NECO)
