At least 47 people have died in a plane crash in South Korea, according to the fire department.
The Jeju Air jetliner, listed as a Boeing 737-800 on FlightAware, was reportedly carrying 175 passengers and six crew when it crash-landed at the airport in Muan county on Sunday morning.

Two people have been pulled from the wreckage. Rescuers are focusing on reaching people inside the plane’s tail section.
A fire department official told CNN the plane had been “almost completely destroyed” by fire.
The fire department said the accident was caused by a landing gear malfunction.
Emergency responders said they had rescued two people from the plane, according to the fire department.
Images of the crash published by the Yonhap news agency showed only the tail section of the plane intact, surrounded by flames.
