The Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto UDUSOK Convocation Ceremony for 38th, 39th, 40th, and 41st sets equivalent to those who graduated in the 2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021, and 2022/2023 sessions, respectively, has been announced.
The 5-day ceremonies will be held from Monday, April 15th, to Saturday, April 20th, 2024.
This announcement was contained in an advertisement by the school management, signed by the institution registrar, N.A. Belko, on Sunday.
The Convocation Programme, filled with different events, would begin with a press conference by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lawal Suleiman Bilbis, and is open to both graduates and undergraduates.

The UDUSOK Convocation Ceremony 2024 continues on Tuesday, April 16th, with a convocation debate and convocation drama. Followed by a novelty football match and a convocation lecture on the topic ‘Federalism, Democratic Governance, and the Management of Conflict and Insecurity in Nigeria, which Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, NSA, will deliver on Thursday.
The Usmanu Danfodio University’s main campus will host the ceremony for the award of diplomas and certificates, the commissioning of projects, as well as the Chancellor’s Dinner on Friday.
On Saturday, at the convocation square, the university’s main campus will host the convocation grand finale by 9 am.
The university management has directed that all graduates be required to pay a non-refundable fee of 2,000 Naira for the rental of the gown. The gowns are to be collected from the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs beginning Monday, April 15th.
