The management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) Ilorin, Kwara State, has released the registration instructions for the UNILORIN Post UTME 2023 admission screening.
This implies that students who picked the university on the 2023 Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) can now proceed to register for the admission screening.
As contained in the registration instructions released on the school website, applicants of the institution are carefully required to upload their data on the admission screening portal, as students who make wrong entries risk automatic disqualification.

The institution management also noted that the admission aggregate score would be calculated with the UTME/DE score (50%), the post-UTME screening score (30%), and five O level grades (20%).

- Applicants who wish to participate in the admission screening exercise should upload their WAEC/NECO/NABTEB or equivalent O’Level results on the Joint Admission and Matriculations Central Admission Processing System (JAMB CAPS).
- Additionally, aspiring candidates who want to apply with an awaiting result are to indicate “AR”.
- Candidate’s personal email and phone numbers must be valid and active before registration commences. (Avoid the habit of using the details of cybercafé operators.)
- The UNILORIN Post UTME 2023 registration cost a total of two thousand Naira (N2000.00).
- It is pertinent that all information supplied on the portal be cross-checked before it is finally submitted for admission processing.
- While registration is still on, candidates have the ability to correct errors possibly made in the course of registration.
- After successful registration, candidates must print out the admission screening documents. All information supplied during registration must be correctly displayed; if not, reenter the information.

Registration Procedure for UNILORIN Post UTME 2023/2024
- Candidates are to log in to the authentic admission portals of the university. https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ug/candidate/login OR visit https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng and click on Post-UTME Registration.
- Click on “Verify your details” on the registration page.
- Fill in the required fields.
- Click on “Verify” to check UTME/DE registration information.
- Using payment choices such as card, transfer, USSD, bank, and QR code of Remita, pay the registration fee by clicking the “Proceed” button.
- With your registration details, click on “confirm your payment” to confirm payment.
- Pressing the “Validate” button under the payment RRR, to verify payment status.
- Check your email for your unique activation code as it must have been sent after successful payment.
- Activate your account with the activation code sent to your email. After successful activation, your login details must have been sent to your email. Check your email.
- Proceed to log in using the details sent to your email at the UNILORIN portal https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ug/candidate/login
- Provide your JAMB registration number and password, then click “login”
- Further, click the “My application” button to complete all necessary details for the registration.
- After the information has been carefully submitted, submit your registration by clicking “Submit”.
Furthermore, the University of Ilorin noted that the results of candidates must be carefully uploaded as deliberate falsification of results is tantamount to automatic disqualification of results.
How to Calculate UNILORIN Aggregate Cut-off Mark for the 2023/2024 Academic Session
As released on the university portal, the JAMB score carries 50% of the value, O-level scores 20%, and post-UTME scores 30%.
For instance, your JAMB score is 320. In other words, if you multiply 320/400 by 50, you get 40%. Also, if you multiply 70/100 (your Post UTME score) by 30 to get 21%, you’ve achieved a score of 70. And to complete 100%, you add your O-level grade to the two.
