The management of Osun State University has extended the 2023 UNIOSUN Post UTME registration deadline for the 2023/2024 academic session in order to allow applicants to register for the newly approved programmes of the institution.
This was contained in a publication signed by the school registrar, Mr. G.A.A Shittu, released on the school website on Monday.
The notification was to inform students who chose Osun State University as their first choice or were willing to make the institution their first choice that the 2023/2024 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has been extended.

Apart from making UIOSUN their first choice institution, candidates are expected to have scored not less than 160 marks in the 2023 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Examination.
Courses not Available for the Extended Post UTME
Osun State University has stated that the underlisted courses are not available for application by students. This is because the admissions process for these courses has been completed and students have been admitted.

The institution further stated that, taking cognizance of the national policy on age, students must be at least sixteen (16) years old on or before December 31, 2023.
Failure to meet this requirement may lead to automatic disqualification.

- BSc. (Ed.) Computer Science

Applications for these courses are to be submitted by accessing Osun State University at http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng.
The institution added that students are additionally required to print the application form (2 copies) after successful submission of the application.
Eligibility for UNIOSUN New Programmes
The Osun State University requires applicants to have made at least five credits in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB in not less than two sittings in subjects relevant to their course of choice.
Applicants must avoid supplying wrong information while uploading their O’ Level results on the admission portal. This deliberate act may lead to prosecution by law enforcement agencies and the possible withdrawal of admission.
Failure to participate in the admission screening exercise means no chance of admission consideration.
The Central Admission Processing System (CAPS)
The university reiterated the need for all students to upload their O’Level results to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s (JAMB) CAPS portal as a pre-condition for admission consideration.

The application forms for the new programmes can be assessed at the UNIOSUN Post UTME portal at http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng.
A service charge of two thousand naira (N2,000.00), payable through the REMITA web payment platforms, is the application fee.
