The Officers of the Nigerian Army Education Corps, 2 Division Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, Ibadan, have sensitized the Students of Tolat Unique College, Ilora, on the roles of the Armed Forces in safeguarding and protecting the country.
Speaking during a Career Day Programme of Tolat Unique College, Oke-Afos Ilora, Oyo State, representative of the Nigerian Army, Lt. Col. Olutayo Ogunranti stated that the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy and Nigerian Air force work together in protecting the territorial integrity from terrorists and invasion of any form and bearing arms to safeguard the Country at all times in various ways.
“To join the Military you must be courageous and disciplined. Although you can only join any army forces through Nigerian Defence Academy, Short Service Course and Direct Short Service Course”, Lt Col Ogunranti said, while sensitizing the Students.
“There are various section in the Military; Combatant Arms (infantry) they fight enemies of the state at all times, Combat Support (artillery, intelligence) and Service Support (education, finance, band)”, He added.
The Proprietor of the College, Mr. Adetunji Ogunsola while speaking on “Your Future and Fulfilling Purposes”, admonished the Students that no matter the levels of their challenges, they should continually press forward in all their endeavors.
However, another Career Advisor, Mrs. Omojola Oluwaseun who counselled the Students on the health field; says a professional nurse contributes to the progress of the society by being caring and assisting the doctors to take good care of patients when there are ailments.
Pastor Ayangbola, while lecturing the students on Pastoral vocation, charged them to listen and obey God’s calling upon their lives whenever there’s a call.

J Akinola from the Education Corps of the 2 Division Adekunle Fajuyi Barracks Ibadan, Pastor Ayangbola, Mrs. Omojola Oluwaseun, The Proprietor of Tolat Unique College, Mr. Adetunji Ogunsola, College Principal, Mr. Akinropo Akinyemi, The Head of Primary Section, Mr. Adebisi Johnson, Teachers and Students of the College.
