To mark the 2024 Eid-el-Fitri celebration, the Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Tuesday, April 9 and Wednesday, April 10 as public holidays.
This was made known in a statement by the Honourable Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, signed by the permanent secretary of the ministry, Aishetu Ndayako on Sunday.
Tunji-Ojo who congratulated Muslim faithfuls for the successful completion of fasting in the Ramadan holy month, admonished them to inculcate the good virtues of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him)
