JAMB Introduces New Admission Acceptance/Rejection Method

The Nigerian admissions regulatory body, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced new admission acceptance and rejection method for candidates.

Henceforth, JAMB says candidates would only be able to accept admission or programme offers through the JAMB USSD or biometrics at accredited centers nationwide.

This was disclosed on Tuesday, in the weekly in-house bulletin of the board through it’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.

“As part of measures to simplify its processes for candidates, the Board has put necessary mechanisms in place to ensure that henceforth, all admissions offered by institutions can only be accepted or rejected either through the 55019 or 66019 channels or by using the candidate’s biometrics at any accredited CBT centre or our Office”

The new JAMB facility allows candidates to accept/reject admission offers through their fingerprints.

The newly-crafted method according to JAMB are aimed towards the protection of candidates details and upholding the sanctity of its admission processes.
