The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) Management has debunked news about any recruitment in the University.
The University in a press release signed by the Registrar, M Alfanla, on Friday clarified that “No recruitment, either by way of replacement or other means is currently going on in the University”.
He enjoined that the general public be vigilant and report any fraudulent activities to the appropriate authority.

The attention of the University Management has been drawn to the ongoing recruitment scam by some unscrupulous elements extorting the public under the guise of securing appointments for them in the University.
The University Management wishes to inform the general public that:
(I) No recruitment, either by way of replacement or other means is currently going on in the University;
(Ii) In the University of Ilorin, recruitment exercise follows established procedures which include advertisement, interview, and award of appointment;
(iii)The University has not and will not conduct or offer appointment(s) to an individual or group of individuals through third-parties;
(iv) The University has not and will not appoint any agent or third-party to conduct recruitment on its behalf; and
(v) At the appropriate time, the University will advertise vacant positions in accordance with the extant laws and government guidelines.
The general public is advised to be vigilant and report any fraudulent recruitment activities to the appropriate authority.
