The Executive National President of the Federation of Ibarapa Students Association (FIBSA), Comr. Adeleke Adeola has called on the students body to disregard the notification of FIBSAEC Inauguration orchestrated by the FIBSA Deputy Senate President, Sen Oyeyemi Quadri.
A release signed by the president explained that the inauguration of the FIBSAEC was done in an “egregious violation” of the FIBSA constitution.

It’s disheartening to witness some comrades prioritizing personal interests over the unity and integrity of FIBSA, which represents the collective interests of students from the 7 Ibarapa land. These actions undermine the very fabric of our constitution and threaten the harmony of our student body
The recent sitting and inauguration organized by FIBSA Deputy Senate President, Sen. Oyeyemi Qaudri.O, who represents Tapa Community at the FIBSA senate arm, has raised serious concerns regarding its legitimacy. As this event is allegedly unauthorized, it warrants scrutiny and public attention.
It has recently come to my notice that there has been a misapplication and misconstruction of the constitutional stipulations pertaining to the requisite two-thirds majority necessary for convening a sitting within the legislative chamber.
I hereby bring to the attention of the FIBSAITES that the sitting and inauguration conducted by the Deputy Senate President, Sen. Oyeyemi Qaudri. O, flagrantly contravene Article 10, Section 1 of the FIBSA Constitution.
The aforementioned article unequivocally states:
c. The Electoral Commission shall be constituted by the Senate Arm and approved by the Executive Council.
d. The commission shall comprise 7 members of impeccable character, one from each town, nominated by their respective senators.
Regrettably, the Deputy Senate President inaugurated FIBSAEC without consulting the 7 towns in Ibarapa, and the principal officers of the house were conspicuously absent. Furthermore, the sitting, inauguration, and dissolution were conducted without the requisite use of the mace and mallet.
In light of these egregious violations, I, as the FIBSA President, hereby notify the FIBSAITES to disregard the earlier notification of the illegal FIBSAEC inauguration orchestrated by the Deputy Senate President.
